I Kept My Promise!

I completed the entry I mentioned in my last post! However, this one is picture-heavy so this will be posted in the morning by my dear Editrix, Isha. I’m posting snapshots of my weekend in an effort to be less wordy. I’m too wordy. That’s why the posts I write about the events I attend or organize never make it to the uploading stage. I’m sorry. I’m still a greenhorn at this blogging biz. Big thanks to everyone who made it to Style Bible’s Designer Deluxe event last Saturday! I wish I’d invited more of you over, but it was perfect as it was. Thanks especially to the ones who shopped KT! I hope you enjoy your purchases :)

Thoughtful is the New Sexy

Ondoy (and later on Pepeng) wreaked havoc on the archipelago, and something remarkable happened.  The spirit of Bayanihan (concerted civic efforts & support) took over, and we saw flood victims being rescued and evacuated by their neighbors, private citizens organizing relief efforts, soup kitchens & medical missions.  Omit the personalities, and the names – what matters is that people joined hands & made a collective contribution.  Tough times really do bring out the best in people, and the past nine days, we saw the resilience and generosity of the Filipinos. Heroes, big and small, everywhere.
