I Kept My Promise!
I completed the entry I mentioned in my last post! However, this one is picture-heavy so this will be posted in the morning by my dear Editrix, Isha. I’m posting snapshots of my weekend in an effort to be less wordy. I’m too wordy. That’s why the posts I write about the events I attend or organize never make it to the uploading stage. I’m sorry. I’m still a greenhorn at this blogging biz. Big thanks to everyone who made it to Style Bible’s Designer Deluxe event last Saturday! I wish I’d invited more of you over, but it was perfect as it was. Thanks especially to the ones who shopped KT! I hope you enjoy your purchases

Sorry this is somewhat late (they’ve already had two nights of screenings), but I haven’t been able to access Facebook for a few days where the updated Cinemalexis schedule was posted. But since I promised this in a previous entry, here’s the remaining sked for the now week-long tribute to film critics Alexis Tioseco and Nika Bohinc at Mogwai Cinematheque. Close friends of the couple and fellow film buffs have curated the filmfest – I’m sure Alexis and Nika would’ve been delighted by the lineup.
FYI, Mogwai is a neat little hangout at my favorite indie haven Cubao X (formerly Marikina Shoe Expo) – it’s a bar and restaurant with a screening room on the second floor. Mogwai Cinematheque’s address is Unit 62 & 63 Cubao Expo, Gen. Romulo Ave., Cubao.
I’m reposting the screening details (and a bit of background info on why the curators made the selection) from the Mogwai site http://mogwaifilm.multiply.com/. Thanks to Rock Ed’s Gang Badoy for the heads-up!
