I wonder how it would be like to run side by side with one of the country’s most eligible (and drop-dead gorgeous) bachelors. I have yet to find out at the 2009 Timex Run where endorser, Piolo Pascual, is slated to join. Those dreamy eyes may be major distraction but I’m sure it is going to be quite an experience.

The gun start is set to fire on November 15, 2009 at the Bonifacio Global City, to bring together runners from all walks of life and spark up competitive athletic spirits. Well-known running coach and multiple champion runner Rio dela Cruz will also be there to try his luck, or more like, to be challenged by other athletes, race fanatics and casual runners.

Of course, you can expect a finish line filled with great prizes. Nature Valley loot bags, activity and time-tracking gears, cash prizes, to name a few. Those who will emerge on top of the pack will also get their very own Timex watches.

So all in all, this event is a battle for the win and a chance to run with the very charming Piolo. More importantly, this event is a chance for everyone to be of help to our fellowmen as part of the proceeds shall go to the Timex-UNICEF school in Masbate and the victims of Ondoy.
