Candy Dizon featured this in her blog last Wednesday (Because Candy Says So…) and I think it’s brilliant!

A “SUPER DUPER VIP client” asked her to redo the strap of her Patek Philippe Gondolo Gemma watch and the key instruction was “I want diamonds on it.”

Gift Idea: Fabulous Rings

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

First things first: My ring size is 7, but I’m more comfortable with 8.

Why am I sharing this fun, random fact about me?

1

This is why.

Like me, after you’ve seen the adorably quirky collection of rings that my fingers have fallen in love with, you’ll be announcing your ring size to all your friends and not-so-subtly urging them to get you one as a Christmas present. (And all the while, of course, you’ll find yourself hoarding pieces for them, too!)

You can find these precious trinkets tucked away in a corner of Power Plant’s Archaeology wing, where Bijoux de Lou stocks whimsical statement rings and fun accessories. If you want to see more, log on to their multiply site and drool over the fantastic designs! A few examples:

You can have an alarm clock, a house, and oh, three houses. How cute is that?

Getting Happy

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

Just got off the phone with Happy David. She’s at her workshop in Cebu right now setting it up. This atelier of sorts is the reason why her designs have taken a turn towards edgier fashion. Really looking forward to what she’ll be coming up with next.

On that note, I asked her to design a bib necklace for me, since I’m loving all the statement jewelry I’ve been seeing at Lanvin, Burberry, and Marc Jacobs.

These are some of the prototypes she sent me.

Faceted resin pieces are hand-painted for varying effects.

Resin rings with Swarovski crystals.

Chain necklace with medallions.

It’s really quite exciting that she has more freedom to play in her new work space. Loving her new designs and loving that it’s all local!

Isha.

P.S.
