Both bottles come in black but one comes in a matte finish while the other is glossy. The effect is:

How amazing is that?? But unfortunately for us, YSL nail polish isn’t available in our shores. Guess we’ll have to settle for doing it the good old fashioned DIY way!

This photo does not do justice to the fantastic bronzer job Jessica Alba's makeup artist did! While I'm not too particular about the dress, her skin glowed on-cam and made me want to hit the beach stat!

If I were to be in Bourne Legacy, I’d love to play Edward Norton‘s hostage where he wraps one arm around me while holding a gun to my head with the other. Of course, Jeremy Renner saves me! Since this will be my debut to the international scene, I’d wear an outfit by Norman Noriega—a sheer minimalist dress that exudes loads of sexiness.

REGGIE

If I were to be in Bourne Legacy, I’d definitely want to play a fabulous assassin sent to terminate Aaron Cross (a.k.a. Jeremy Renner)! Because it’s just no fun to do so in a sweatshirt and jeans, I’d wear this sexy pantsuit by Ivar Aseron which will mysteriously remain sparkly white despite slugging it out during a fight scene.

P.S. Jeremy Renner I love you.  Sorry, I just had to put it out there.

JACQUE

So I heard that they’re set to shoot in El Nido. In that case, if I were to be a part of Bourne Legacy, I would simply be the exotic and beautiful Filipina, clad in Ivarluski Aseron‘s printed maxi, who Jeremy Renner befriends by the beach. After all the chaos, he might need a little time off.

Since a car chase through the streets of Manila and Pasay are in order, I’d like to be the one whose car gets stolen by Edward Norton (huge fan!). I’ll be taken hostage and maybe even shot or injured. And while my 15 seconds of fame will be brief, at least I’ll stop traffic in this neon number by Joey Samson.

They are sexy and desirable, indeed. But believe me, to be 34-22-33 is not the be-all and end-all of our existence. You cannot have a love/hate relationship with food all your life because our bodies will change NO MATTER WHAT. Diet to the point of starvation is really not an option. Besides, food is one of life’s simple pleasures and it makes us happy. So, why deprive yourself, right? (BUT! It doesn’t mean you can just binge uncontrollably like you have not a care in the world.)

Today, we found this old article published by http://www.dailymail.co.uk that had us asking ourselves: If I don’t love the way I look, who genuinely will?

Published way back in 2009 (we still think it’s relevant), the article discusses the feature Glamour Magazine American Edition had done with Lizzie Miller—not your typical model—who appeared almost naked on the glossy sans the airbrush, Photoshop and any other editing tools usually used to make subjects look perfect.

The author, Linda Kelsey says, “Well, even though it was only 3-in. square and hidden away on page 194, this extraordinary image of a woman with wobbly bits that have not been airbrushed away has sparked a whirlwind of reaction—almost all of it positive.”

She adds, “What also gives this image such sledgehammer power is that it’s not her breasts or her upper arms or her thighs that draw the eye immediately, but the stomach—the area of every woman’s body that inspires more agonies of self-loathing than any other.”

It is a profound read that inspires to love ourselves and accept our bodily flaws and this is why we’re sharing it with you.

We should remember that we must learn to love ourselves first before we expect others to love us. I think that is only fair. Linda could not have said it any better, “Unless we start addressing the issues, unless we wise up to the fact that our body fantasies can never be fulfilled, we’ll continue to be pointlessly unhappy for a long time to come.”

The moment you make peace with your physical dissatisfaction, the more confident you’ll be, the happier you’ll be.

I love the simple red on red decor, don’t you? It’s perfect timing too because Jacque doesn’t have a tree at home so this little wonder will be giving some Holiday cheer to her digs.

I stopped by last Friday to check it out myself and here’s a list of cool buys and gift ideas I found:

1. Celio and Bench shirts that would make great gifts for male friends and family alike.

2. Kashieca had a lot of great options but I spied a few dresses from the Randy Ortiz collection that are perfect for the season’s parties.

3. Apart from pretty ceramic planters, Dimensione also had LED reading lamps on discount!

4. Charles and Keith had the largest selection and the biggest mark down! It’ s highly likely you’ll find more than a pair or two to your liking.

5. Aldo’s selection had a good number of heels, peeptoes, and cute rope wedges but my gaze turned to these really cute, black rubber rainboots; likely because it was raining that night.

6. For your nieces and nephews, Mothercare has a broad range of clothing, age-wise, and a number of items new moms would find very useful.

7. There’s a rack of Adidas clothing items that actually has a few Stella McCartney for Adidas pieces on it. If I were a more active sort, I’d have hoarded on the sports gear!

I always manage to find great gift items at the Bench Lifestyle Sale. If you’re not done with your list, it’s a good place to keep hunting.

The sale is at the third floor of Dimensione at The Fort High Street.

The Huffington Post reports, “Teija Vesterbacka, the wife of Rovio CMO Peter Vester, showed up to the Presidential Independence Day reception at the Finnish Presidential Palace dressed in this one-shoulder red gown, which was decorated to resemble the face of those lovable cartoon birds.”

You could almost miss it if you weren’t hooked on the mobile game yourself. I wonder who customized the gown for her.
