I am so happy that you invited me! I have a confession to make: I only learned how to use the computer a good 10 months ago and now I am so hooked!

I am now working on day one on my Gala and I have set up a team to create my collection. I am happy because I have asked my cutter, Rodel, to come back. Six months ago, he asked to take a break because he wanted to set up his farm in the province, it has always been his dream. I did not have the heart to hold him back, as I am a firm believer in pursuing your dream. Rodel is a fantastic technician and we are so in sync! It’s like I just think it and he finishes my thoughts! I am so happy that he will be working on the collection.

The idea behind this collection is really all about Emotion! I want the clothes to reflect that, I want to make clothes that will really define why I am a designer! I wanted to express this in this collection! In a way, I am thinking that it should be pure fantasy! I have set up my mood boards and I will be sending this to you! I am aiming to do like 30 looks, but Robbie (Carmona) my director says that I should add more! I am both daunted and excited with this show, as I have not done a full gala show in like 9 years! So I am really anxious! Doing shows like this really takes a toll on me, I always give it my all and this will be a great journey.

I am blessed that Preview asked me to do this. As I normally just put this in my own hand written journal, this will be a fresh experience, and it’s always good when it is fresh! How perfect that it is day one of production! I will try my best to update you very often! Lots of things to do!!!
