A Gorgeous Beach Wedding!

Alex approached me more than 6 months ago about her Boracay wedding. Everything had been planned out to perfection. I knew exactly what Alex’ wedding gown should look like.

Alex' wedding dress was a study on simplicity. I did not want something overly designed. The dress was created by draping 4 layers of silk chiffon referencing a "Gres" aesthetic.

Alex decided on a beautiful palette of sand inspired colors. I was very excited, the only thing that I was really worried about was that none of her entourage could come for a fitting? 90% of the bridesmaids would be flying in the day before the wedding and this made me a bit anxious. I had to think of a dress that would require zero adjustments. Then I remembered a dress I created a long time ago. We called it the Infinity dress, inspired by a dress originally designed by Halston. The concept really was marvelous as the girls could create their own individual looks.

The bridesmaid wrapped and tied their own version of the dresses making it completely their own.

The wedding was really PERFECT! I have been to lots of weddings but there was somethings unique and utterly special about this one. Everyone was in a PARTY mode! I just want to share with you my experience! I wish the couple all the very best and to say thank you for making me a part of this wonderful occasion!

OMG! Check these babies out! I really really loved the earrings that Alex' parents gave her. I actually teared up when they brought it to my studio for her to try it on with her dress! They were really beautiful!
