MAÑANA
On the Island of Boracay, there are a multitude of dining options. Some stellar and some very dissapointing. I am very happy to share with you a place where it is constantly stellar! This is called Mañana! It is a Mexican restaurant that always delivers the goods fresh, hot and extremely delicious!

Mañana's new look--clearer colors and a more polished ambience!
I have been coming toMañana every year since it opened and I am so proud of its growth. It literally just used to be a small taco shack selling the best tortilla’s and enchilada’s on the island ( I dare say in the country) . Apart from the food they make a killer frozen mango margarita that gives you the best beach buzz! I normally take two of the margarita’s and I am a happy man.

Happiness in a glass! A partially consumed Frozen Mango Margarita!

Yummy Cheese quesadillas!

Delectably soft chicken tacos.

Our super yummy Mexican lunch!
I recently visited them again and I was so impressed on their makeover that I had to blog about it. Mañana now looks very polished and more upscale. I had a late lunch there and I was very thrilled!

The interiors!

Mañana just makes all of us HAPPY!

We found some lovely looking shells and corals that I intend to make into charms. I imagine them dipped in gold and decorated with some rich semi precious stones.

This is how Nix does it! I think they are super chic! This might end up in the store for some really cool summer jewelry.
If you are in Boracay and have a hankering for some fine Mexican nosh, head on over to Mañana and have a great time! Do not forget to order some frozen margaritas while your at it!
HUGS!
RAJO!

Oooooh! What a great tip! Thank you so much! I will surely take a mental note of Jalapeno Cantina Mexicana. These kind of things are so my type! Searching for amazing hole in the wall restaurants makes me so excited! SALAMAT!
Alot has been said about Manana in Bora and I am a big fan myself! Since we are city dwellers and only find ourselves in the island once or thrice a year and more frquent for those who are lucky enough to take off from work easily…Another suggestion is Jalapeno Cantina Mexicana…this has been a hush hush place…truly a hole-in-the-wall which for me was my greatest find in 2009! Its tucked in the food street of Ortigas Home Depot….you should give it a shot. I tried it once and no joke I have been hooked….After the first time I tried it….I went back 2 consecutive days….try it out….you will not regret driving to the Ortigas area.
