MOMO!
I had the chance to visit the Eastwood Mall a few days ago and I must say that I really enjoyed my time there. I don’t get the chance to venture off into that part of the woods that often but I am glad that Nix thought of going. It’s a really pleasant mall filled with great stores. One of the reasons why I liked it was there weren’t too many people. LOL!
The highlight of my trip was having lunch at MOMO! I got attracted to the place because the interiors were nice and I am a sucker for great interiors. In a way it looked Scandinavian with the blonde wood.

- The interiors! Looking really nice!

Nix in front of the cool wallpaper that matched his outfit LOL!

The view from below. Nice lamps!
The food servings were quite large as I think everything was meant for sharing. We ordered a feast! We started with the MOMO salad which could have been a whole lot better if the greens were more fresh–the lettuce leaves were verging on sadness and overall limp and well, wilted. The dressing was too thick and it had the consistency of a jam instead of a dressing. Meaning the salad needed major help.
Then we had the chowder soup which was just ok, nothing great. Could have been made richer and more bold by adding flavor! At this point I was like, “I think this will be a SAD experience.” Good thing the cheese spread that came free at the start of the meal was a winner! I loved it!

Our salad. Next time the greens should be more fresh, please.
The main courses arrive and they looked really good! A promising sign! I got excited when I saw how beautiful the carbonara looked with that golden yolk swimming in a pool of the most delicate noodles.

A plate of beautiful CARBONARA! Check out the giant bacon rashers that came with it! YUMMERS!
The RIBS made my mouth water with their generous sides and charred edges.

The pork ribs were really good! I will come back for this again!
The main courses were FANTASTIC! totally making me forget about the first two disappointing dishes. I would definitely go back and try other things on the menu.
A big plus as well is that the staff was really attentive and cheerful, which I always appreciate. Do come to MOMO and let me know what else is good on the menu. It is located on the first level of the Eastwood Mall, failed to get a card but it’s easy to find! LOL!
HUGS!
