Beautiful things!

It has been such a wonderful week so far. I am excited! I am at a lounge in Narita, Japan waiting for my flight to New York! YAHOO! In the past few days, I have been on an emotional roller coaster ride so I decided to fill my thoughts with beautiful things that inspire me.

I had a “Mardi-Gras” dinner with my favorite Grand Aunt Lorna Laurel where she showed me her Nena Saguil collection! I am not too familiar with her work, but from what I saw that evening I was loving it!

I love this Nena Saguil! It could work as a print in the future!

THE ACCP AUCTION!

This weekend for me was all about art and culture!  It all began with the setting up of our Asian Cultural Council of the Philippines (ACCP) Art Auction!  This was the very first time that we putting something like this up so we were all very anxious and exctied!  The whole event was quite difficult to mount but all these challenges are really super worth it as the benefits are really immeasurable.

We had the auction at the Finale Art Gallery! I love this space! I want to live there! LOL!

MY Sketches for the ACC Auction!

I just wanted to remind  all of you about  the Asian Cultural Council  Art Auction  that will be held tomorrow, Saturday, February 6,  at the Finale Art File, La Fuerza Compound,2214 Pasong Tamo Makati.  This special event starts at 4:00pm but the live auction starts at 6:00pm.  We were able collect more than 100 artworks and you can see them all at our website www.asianculturalcouncil.org

I just want to share with you a small kilig moment!  I decided to donate some of my fashion sketches for the cause!  LOL!  I am “Saling Pusa”  LOL!

JUJIIN!

I am a huge fan of Jujiin Samonte‘s work!  I think he is brilliant period!  So when I  found out that he was going to have his first exhibit I said to myself that I have to be there.  Jujiin is a photographer/stylist/filmaker/DJ/mowdel…LOL! He is the true, modern, Renaissance Man!

CHECK THE LIST OUT!

Please save the date!  February6!  It will be an ART EXTRAVAGANZA!
Check the list of artists that have come support their fellow artists to reach their dreams.  This is one of those situations where everyone wins!  The list of artists is pretty impressive!  A mixture of National Artists and upcoming names that are rocking the art world so to speak.
