AL GORE in MANILA!

I felt so blessed when last week I got a ticket to hear Al Gore‘s presentation on Climate Change. Thank you so much Ms. Annie S. Garcia of SM for inviting me! The letter that came seemed strict as the gates would be closed at 3:50. I decided to leave Makati early so that I would get there in time. I was quite impressed with the way the whole event was organized, it was smooth and very orderly.
When I got there I immediately bumped into the FASHION peeps. Joyce Fernandez and Jay Abalos. I was happy to see them in a sea of “BUSINESS ATTIRED” people! LOL! I failed to read the invite clearly requiring everyone to be in business attire. I was in jeans! Although I do conduct my business daily wearing jeans. LOL!

I was happy to see Jude, Mich, and Jeroen in their "business attire."

JUJIIN!

I am a huge fan of Jujiin Samonte‘s work! I think he is brilliant period! So when I found out that he was going to have his first exhibit I said to myself that I have to be there. Jujiin is a photographer/stylist/filmaker/DJ/mowdel…LOL! He is the true, modern, Renaissance Man!

Jujiin and Paolo! Partners in life and in debauchery! LOL!

Heather Miss Grey!

Something really exciting is coming this Thursday! I got this email invite (Nix received the actual invite and it was super cute and useful. A zippered pouch). This is something really worth checking out! As far as collaborations are concerned, this one for me is going to be absolute perfection! I cannot wait to see what they have in store! I am a great admirer of Bleached Catastrophe and Cecile so having them work together sends fashion me fashion goosebumps! I have only seen a preview of the women’s collection at Chuvaness.com, but I have yet to see the men’s collection! I have a feeling it will be a MAJOR HIT! See you at the launch!
