This weekend was quite fun! The highlight of it all was the Gala Fashion Show of my friend Dennis Lustico! The Gala was supposed to be held on Oct 1, but due to Ondoy, the organizers decided to move the date. I think it was a blessing altogether, as the venue was moved to the Makati Shangri-la Hotel. The night was filled with only positive energy as everyone wanted to raise money for the Red Cross. I am a staunch supporter of the Red Cross and anything that will benefit this wonderful organization, I am there. The evening also raised money for the victims of Ondoy. Enough chit-chat, here are some photos from that night! OH….I had to break this post into 2 parts as I took so many photos! LOL!

Our school bus, comprised of Cedric Cid, Malu Gamboa and Nix! I felt like it was prom night all over again!

Then we volted in with the coolest siblings in town! Stacy and Junie Rodriguez

Tessa Valdes was co-chairing the event. I tell you, her philanthropic energy is boundless! Here she is with my goddaughter Athena!

Chito and Ricky are always the best dressed cats in town! I love their day-glo pants! Each time I see them out, they have the most exciting looks!

This is Emily and Tessa! I dressed them up for the evening! It really felt like Prom night all over again!

Malu G with Anton B. I loved the small details of Anton's suit; check out the shoulder and the collar! Very cool indeed! I think Randy Ortiz did it?

The other chairperson for the event was Mrs. Kaye Tinga. Here she is with her husband Mayor Tinga of the super city of Taguig! Man...They are doing such a good job with that town! It

The Generals were in full force! (General Managers that is) Mr. and Mrs. Reto Klauser of The Makati Shangri-la hotel with Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Crook of The Manila Peninsula! Happy to see them there! Their wives were really stylish!

Design darlings James Reyes with Ivarluski Aseron came out to support our friend Dennis! Hey guys, next year, it

The best color of the night goes to Mrs. Shiela Romero! She looked great! She also had the most dramatic train! WERQ IT GURL!!!!

Best hair accessory of the night goes to Mrs. Beng Dee! I loved it! It was so fresh and youthful! I had to take a close shot of it!

Nix with the glam squad! Isha Andaya with the Lulu Tan-Gan!

Lulu wearing Dennis Lustico! Loving the color again! Yaay for this!

I spotted her Vintage Bea Valdes bag! This was an early edition, I remember this very well!

Best Styling for me goes to Janina Dizon! Love the layered pearls, fascinator and bold shoulder! Her family did the jewels for the show!

Here was how the ballroom looked liked! Nice stage! The lighting was also very dramatic! Ariel Lozada was the brains behind the production that evening.

BFFs and Lustico muses were present! Both in a gorgeous shade of Platinum! Celine Lopez and Weny Puyat! It was so nice to see them!

Joey Mead was a head turner in this fantastic Pucci number! LOVE YOU JOEY!

My friend Josephine del Gallego was rocking this Marchesa gown! She is so chic it kills me!

Ria Prieto is pregnant and she looks this amazing! God was good to you my dear! Loving the clean lines of this Lustico creation!

The Lim Ladies! One in HOL, the other in Puey.

Sister act! Malu and Popsie Gamboa! Had to take a shot of this as Popsie rarely comes out!

The surprise guest at our table was non other than Hayden Kho! This was Hayden's first social event after the "scandal." Tessa and Hayden became friends during the Celebrity duets show.

Hayden was very honest about his feelings that night so our table made sure that he was comfortable and relaxed! Good thing he sat beside Emily, who completely put him at ease.

FYI...He is really a charmer and really very good looking! LOL!

My tablemates Rosanna Cruz and Jon-Jon Rufino.

The theme of the food that night was a modern adaptation of Philippine cuisine. We started out with a sampler trio of fresh lumpia, a crispy wanton-like turon and a really lovely cheesy mini bibingka. I loved the idea of nouvelle Philippine cuisine!

The soup dish came next and it was a very hearty sea food binakol served in the coconut! This was my fave dish of the evening! It was hearty and refreshing and just YUMMY!

The main course was a dish called Poullet Philippine (Philippine Chicken), served with a lovely risotto. It reminded me of a really sosyal version of adobo. LOL! It was just OK.

The dessert again came in threes. Another turon, then a leche flan with macapuno and another dessert on the right , which by then I was too full to try. In fairness, they had a lot of food served! The wines too were flowing the whole evening, this made all of us very happy!

A group shot! Diba very Vanity Fair?

Tessa Alindogan with Hayden!

One more with me! LOL!
