The weather has been pretty grey and rainy in the city, so I kind of feel lazy going out! Instead, I decided to enjoy my fabulous suite! Oh, they upgraded us to a bigger suite by the way! Can you imagine? I love my new suite because it’s so old world! I mean I don’t know anyone from my generation who has rooms that look like this. It’s really lovely!

I have know Jing Monis for a really long time! We have gone through so much together that I can write a couple of telenovelas about it! LOL! I am so very proud of my friend because he recently opened a salon that proudly bears his name! My friendship with him goes way back, from the time I was a struggling designer all the way to the present! He did the hair and makeup of my sisters’ prom, debut and weddings. In fact, I think Gela, my sister, was inspired by Jing to pursue her own career as a makeup artist. He did all the hair and makeup of my very first gala and he even directed a fashion show for me all the way in Australia!
His new salon is a showcase of his personality: Bright, clean and cheerful, embodying the personality of this super talented man! Everyone came out to support him! I hope he forgives me for being so late! It was one of those toxic days! However, I did get to the tail end of the party and shared a champagne flute or two with my dear dear friend! Congratulations, Jing!
