A few days ago I met up with a young designer named Tracy Dizon. She came to my office with her 5 year-old son and asked me if I could help her. She has been chosen to represent the Philippines in the 47th Japan Fashion Design Contest! This is going to be an amazing opportunity for her. However, being a single mother and all, her funds are very limited.
I am just hoping that some kind soul will read my post and help Tracy raise the needed funds to complete her garment and get her a chance to go to Japan to realize her dream. I have started the fund drive by giving her the needed money to begin her competition piece, but she really needs a ticket to go to Japan and enough money for board and lodging.
