Snake River Farms @ LU!

There were two main courses but at this point, I was getting full already! This plate was a tenderloin brochette and some Peruvian anticucho hanger steak! Both could easily be sliced with a spoon and just melted in my mouth.

It’s funny how my love of food almost equals my  devotion to fashion.  It seems like I write about food more than any other topic. Well, here is another entry on a one of kind experience I recently had at LU!

Loving LU!

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

My girls Leica, Kitty and Amanda decided to have a long Sunday brunch.  I took this opportunity to finally try out LU at Rockwell!  I was so excited because a couple of my readers (NAKS!) wrote me their suggestions on what to order.

When I walked in, I saw that the place was abuzz with customers and we were led to our table.  The owner Luis Terry was there to greet us and gave us a big hug!  I really appreciate it when the owners of restaurants are their because this really makes a huge difference.  After Luis explained the menu, we decided to have a bottle of bubbly to celebrate the holidays!  (As if we needed any other reason?! LOL!)

The menu was well conceived and very tempting! It's all like foreplay!

LU at The Joya!

I live in Rockwell and I love it!  I love it for many many reasons.  I have everything I need around the area, a huge bonus is that it’s only a 5 minute walk to my office.  I just discovered another reason why I love living in Rockwell and it is called “LU“.  This restaurant is the brain child of my friend Luis Terry.  It is located in the ground floor of the JOYA building, just adjacent to  the 7-11 convenience store.
