Jujiin and Paolo! Partners in life and in debauchery! LOL!
Today, one of my dearest friends got married! I do not remember exactly how we met, but when we did, I fell in love with her and decided that she would be my muse. In fact, my 2001 gala was all about her. We did an extensive photo shoot together and we even made a beautiful short film. Her name is Sarah Meier.
I am sure that your all familiar with this 6 foot tall stunner! She is many things…model, tv host, rap connoisseur, wife – but above all, she is a mother. Watch out for her daughter Kaya Isabel Albano, for in a few years, she will making everyone’s hearts flutter. At the tender age of 3, she already makes me weak in the knees!
I wish Sarah and Benjo all the happiness and Joy in the world! My very best wishes and congratulations!
Sarah is truly one of the most beautiful Filipinas ever! I am so happy that she asked me to be a part of her big day!
She had her reception in Hacienda Isabella. This hacienda is owned by the famous chanteuse Ms. Kuh Ledesma! The place is really beautiful - it reminds me of the French Provence but with a really strong Filipino twist. I had time to wander about and I thought the place really exuded a lot of STYLE! Miss Kuh is really one class act!
Sarah and I wanted her dress to be really light and airy. I thought that the best manner to do this is in Swiss Silk Illusion tulle. I dyed the dress in several shades of Lavender and Dove Gray to achieve this smokey effect. I then added handmade silk flowers in the back cascading into a virtual explosion of tulle.
She was so relaxed and just beaming! I love her eyes in this shot!

Sarah wanted an organic feel to her flowers, almost like it was hand tied. I love her choice for the "Floral" pillow!

Sarah's bridesmaids were all so lovely. I like the idea of having the same dresses in various shades. I adored how they all showed their distinct individual styles.

Sarah decided on what we call an Infanta silhouette. It was funny because I designed her dress in 15 seconds! I know her so well that I was able to capture what she had in mind immediately.
