I love these long weekends! The timing could not have been made more perfect as I really…..really needed to get away from the city! I have been hearing from friends about Zambales. I have never been there, and since it’s only a three-hour drive, I decided to go! I went with the Magsaysay girls (Carla and Tin). I knew that this would be the perfect weekend escape! There was nothing on the agenda, just lots of sun and sangria! LOL!

Roadtrip! I was really impressed by the Northern Luzon Expressway (NLEX). It was smooth driving from Makati all the way to Zambales!

I want to explore this "lahar" zone soon! I hear that they have like treks and all that! I am sure that it would make an impressive photo shoot!

I was invited by these lovely ladies! Carla, Miguela and TIn! Thank you for the fantastic weekend!

I love the color of this flower!

The Magsaysay residence is like a mini-zoo! They had pythons, parrots, ponies and many more! I felt like I was seven, walking around the grounds!

We headed off to the beach after we dropped our bags and en route, there were several rural scenes that caught my eye. They reminded me of Amorsolo paintings!

When we got to Pundaquit beach I was like WOW! I mean we were the only ones there! The beach went on for miles and miles!

The sand is not as fine and as white as Boracay, but what this beach gives you is complete isolation! I mean that, for me, is true luxury! The entire place was like ours! I really loved that sense of tranquility.

It was like the beach in TEMPTATION ISLAND! LOL! (for those who do not know that local cult movie...I suggest you Google it now! It's the best beach movie ever made in Philippine cinema!)

I love taking pictures of clouds!

This was our view the whole day! It was breathtaking! The next day we took a small boat and headed over to these islands.

Tin is a surfer gal! I asked her to teach me lessons! It was very difficult and quite embarrassing! LOL! I am glad that there were no photos!

This is what I do best! LOL! The girls prepared gallons of Sangria. I think that is really all you need in the beach: the SUN and tons of Sangria!

The beautiful sunset! AHHH....PARADISE!

The next morning, we took a boat and headed out to those islands! I forgot what they were called! LOL!

Some rock formations on the islands!

It was raw and untouched by man! I hope it stays that way!

This is Chloe Magsaysay....she was our local guide! LOL! Nix styled her for this shoot! This just might inspire me for next summer's collection....HMMMM.
HUGS!
